The Bujinkan
The Bujinkan, The Hall of the Warrior Spirit, is an organization that was founded in Japan by Masaaki Hatsumi in the year of 1970. Hatsumi had become the Grandmaster of nine Japanese family systems of unarmed and armed combat. The Bujinkan has focused on preserving these battlefield arts so that they may withstand the test of time, as well as help people learn to defend themselves while also gaining the many benefits of studying the path of the warrior (Budo). Recently, Hatsumi has passed the title of Soke of the nine family systems to eight of his students that now collectively lead the organization.
The United States Ninpo Academy
The Warrior Forge is a proud branch school of the United States Ninpo Academy, which was founded by Shihan Robert Stevens. Shihan Stevens has been training in Ninpo since 1986. He has traveled the world to train with several of the Grandmasters of Japanese Jujutsu & Ninjutsu and their highest ranking students.
Shihan Stevens has always had a focus on making sure that his students learned the art of perseverance through training, and were well versed in the many different weapons, skills, strategies, and mindsets that the arts had to offer.
